Malak Harb

My name is Malak Harb, and I am the proud founder of Discoveries Without Boundaries (DWB). As a student at the University of Ottawa with a deep passion for science, medicine, and innovation, I envisioned DWB as a platform where collaboration meets creativity, and where interdisciplinary approaches shape the future of healthcare.

My journey has been one driven by curiosity and a relentless desire to make a difference in the lives of others. With a background in biomedical sciences and a keen interest in neuroscience, I’ve always been fascinated by how innovative solutions can address complex health challenges. Through my work in pharmacies, medical clinics, and as a researcher, I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of teamwork and diverse perspectives in achieving impactful results.

At DWB, I aim to bring together students from various fields to inspire them to think critically, innovate boldly, and work collaboratively. My hope is to foster an environment where students not only gain valuable skills but also feel empowered to contribute to advancements that could improve healthcare outcomes on a global scale.

Outside of DWB, I am committed to academic excellence, community involvement, and personal growth. I believe that every challenge is an opportunity to learn, and every boundary is meant to be pushed. Together, I know we can create something extraordinary.
